Start your adventure with an 8:30 AM pick-up from your hotel in Arusha. We'll depart for Lake Manyara National Park, where a full day of thrilling game drives awaits you. Enjoy a picnic lunch amid the wild beauty of the park.
As you enter the park, lush forests of Acacia and Mahogany trees set the scene for an exciting day. The game drive will continue until evening, with a break for lunch. Keep an eye out for buffaloes, giraffes, impalas, baboons, and blue monkeys. One of the park's unique attractions is the tree-climbing lions, though spotting them requires a bit of luck. In the right season, witness the shoreline turn pink with millions of flamingos.
After the game drive, you'll return to your camp/lodge, where a delicious dinner will be waiting for you. Enjoy a restful evening, preparing for the next day's adventure.
After an early breakfast, descend to the floor of the Ngorongoro Crater for a memorable 5-hour game drive. This natural wonder is home to a remarkable variety of wildlife, and you can expect to see lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, rhinos, antelopes, jackals, and many bird species. Among the birds, look out for eagles, vultures, flamingos in the Crater Lake, storks, giant vultures, sacred ibis, kori bustards, blacksmith plovers, long-necked herons, and cattle eagles.
Around midday, enjoy a picnic lunch at the scenic Hippo Pool, surrounded by the sounds and sights of nature. After lunch, begin the steep ascent to the top exit of the crater.
The day concludes with a 2-hour drive to your accommodation in Karatu. A freshly made, delicious dinner will be waiting for you at your chosen lodge. After two days of incredible wildlife encounters, a good rest is essential to recharge for the final leg of your safari adventure.
Your final safari day begins with a luscious breakfast at 8:00 AM. Today, you'll journey from Arusha to Tarangire National Park for a half-day game drive. Known as Tanzania’s third-largest national park, Tarangire is celebrated for its majestic baobab trees that dwarf the animals grazing below.
The Tarangire River, the park's lifeline, attracts some of Africa's largest elephant herds. As you traverse the park, you may encounter lions, leopards, cheetahs, lesser kudus, buffalos, oryxes, elands, giraffes, and zebras.
By mid-afternoon, you'll begin your journey back to Arusha. You'll be dropped off at your preferred location by around 6 PM. With incredible experiences and countless memories to cherish, it's time to bid farewell to your team and conclude your unforgettable safari adventure.
